Some tips for summer beer festivals. →
If you’ve followed the beer world online for any time or if your a hardened veteran of the summer beer fest scene then most of these tips are probably just review for the big game, but alot of this stuff is good to keep in mind. My golden rule for any beer event “Dont be an Ass!” if people just kept that one in mind so much would work better….

This year I am/ definately buying a ticket in advance, last year a friend and I walked 2 miles in sub-freezing temps to the state fairgrounds only to get a call as we got to the back gates of the grounds telling us it was sold out…what a sad and cold walk it was back to the neighborhood liquor store that day. Tonight I wandered into the Olde Mohawk in the german village neighborhood in Columbus Ohio. Found it randomly through yelp, Arrogant Bastard on tap milk stout, pbr, and dead guy in bottles! All reasonably priced and the food was good to, check it out if you get a chance!
